Stage One

Home Site Selection: Our home site selection assistance includes a consultation to optimize your home’s position on the building lot. We also discuss low-impact site development, erosion control and any future hardscaping or landscaping ideas that may affect how your home is sited.


Stage Two

House Design and Floor Plan Selection: Bring your own plans or allow us to assist you. How do you live? Will there be changes in your family or lifestyle? These are all questions we use to help you choose or modify a plan. We work with local architects and designers and also have pre-selected home designs from leading architectural firms including Frank Betz, Don Gardner, Stephen Fuller, and Southern Living.


Stage Three

Construction: Proper construction management begins with selections, budgeting, and project scheduling. The Lewes Building Company works with you on your selections and provides you with a budget and a construction timeline. We schedule regular meetings during construction and specifically address any change orders that may have been made.


Stage Four

Settlement Service: For custom home clients, our settlement procedures include punch list management, a pre-settlement demonstration, a one year home warranty, and varying 2 year mechanical warranties.
